VIOLECE ON TELEVISION HAVE AN EFFECT ON THOSE WHO WATCH IT.

Violence on television affect on people who watch it for many reasons. First of all, in a lot of cases people are tend to do , or imitate what other people is doing, even more if the person that is performing the action is an idol for them , so that means that the person have more influence in the audience mind. I saw a lot of cases of people of people that try to imitate someone because they think is really cool or just because is on television and someone important is doing it, so they think they should do it too. Another important reason is kids. Most of the kids really enjoy watch television; moreover , when their parents are not at home because they are allow to watch whatever they want, even if is not good for them. Kids are tend to imitate everything they watch on television and in most of the cases they imitate that with their brothers, friends, or another kids from school. Also, some parent don’t pay good attention to what their kids are watching because they are busy, or just because they want more time to do their activities.
The third important reason is understand the meaning of the show. In most of the
Cases kids don’t understand what is happening on the show , or why the characters are doing what they are doing , so they just try to imitate them without knowing the purpose of the action. In addition, it is really important to notice that in a lot of cartoons is a lot of violence. Usually people think that violence is something funny in cartoons, but they really don’t know how the violence in some shows can affect their kids mind. In conclusion , violence on television have a big influence in people who watch it , and it is really important to be more interested on what we are watching, and think more about how this violence can affect us.

SMOKING SHOULD BE PROHIBITED IN PUBLIC AREAS.

In the world smoking is becoming more and more of a problem. The population of smokers is increasing drastically, and are currently confronting non-smokers. There are many cases for which non-smokers avoid smokers, from asthma to even just feeling unconformable around them. Public places are being polluted by smokers, and there is always many people who disagree with having polluted air around them. According to EPA-Environmental Protection Agency, there are cases in which people who don’t smoke but are constantly in contact with smoke have been diagnosed with lung cancer or other diseases caused by the polluted air.
In many public places smoking has been prohibited, and smoking areas have been established. Still, there are many places where the contact between smokers and non-smokers are shown. For people who don’t smoke is really uncomfortable to be around people who smoke. There are a lot of smoke areas for smokers, but not for non smokers. In some cities in the United States it is prohibited to smoke in public areas; for example in New York people can not smoke in a club, bar , mall, or any public areas, but in some cities smoking is still allowed in public places. In addition, it should be prohibited smoking in front of children because usually they tend to follow their role model steps , and start smoking at a young age. Around the world, children are starting to smoke at a very young age, exposing themselves to cancer at a younger age. This can affect their health in ways. In several cases the people that has been smoking for a long time end carrying an oxygen thank and in most of the cases they die by lung issues. In conclusion, people should not smoke in public areas because if they decide to smoke is their own option , but some people that decide to don’t smoke should be treated with respect by restricting smoking in public areas.

Gainesville and Medellin.

There are so many differences between Gainesville and Medellin. Those two cities have things that I like and thing that I don’t like, but there are so many differences between them. The first important difference is that Gainesville is a small town with a really nice university call The University Of Florida, and there is a lot of young people. On the other hand, Medellin is a big city with a lot of buildings and construction. There are so many universities and ,each one specializes in different areas. Another important difference is safety. Gainesville is a small town with not too much people so that means that Gainesville is a safety place, also because there is a lot of young people that is going to the university. On the contrary, Medellin is a city that have a lot of people of all ages , and most people don’t have jobs or any opportunity, so they have to steal peoples properties and sometimes they kidnap for food . Another difference is night live. In Gainesville most of people is young, so they really enjoys parties, but because they are young the police close everything at 2 am, and everybody has to go home. Also, police restrict alcohol for people that is below 21. On the contrary Medellin is a big city with people of all ages so they close everything really late, and police don’t restrict anybody for drink alcohol even that should do it. In conclusion, Gainesville and Medellin are different places .Each one with different styles.

GOING TO THE MOVIES IS A GOOD EXPERIENCE.

Everyone at some point of their lives has been in a theater watching a movie. Some people enjoy more watch a movie than another people, but still is a good experience for so much reasons. First of all, is a good time to relax , because you are not in your rutting for a while. Also, is a good place to hang out with your friends , because sometimes you are not in the mood to do something that require a lot energy , but you still hang out with your friends. Second , in some movies there is a good moral , and something that impress you in the movie can change your mind, and the way you see things. In addition , you can have a good time , and forget the bad things that happened to you during the day . In conclusion , going to the movies is a good experience , because you can have a good time with your friends , relax , and sometimes it will help you to change the way you see things in lefe.

HOW TO GET ALONG WITH PEOPLE FROM DIFFERENT CULTURES.

You should know that is not something easy to interact with people from many different cultures, but is not impossible. If you want to get along with people from another culture different than yours
You must know that each culture is different , and that people don’t think in the same way you do.
You must respect other people and other cultures, because you don’t know how they think and how they are going to react if you say or do something that they don’t like. You should ask them about their culture, and you are going to be able to understand them a little bit more. If you want to talk with people from different cultures you should find a topic that you think everybody is going to understand, and that is not going to hurt anybody’s feelings. And the most important thing is that you must don’t speak in your own language if there is someone who don’t speak your language.
If you fallow those tips you are going to be able to get along with people from other cultures, and you may learn more about different cultures. Talk with people from many different cultures is something really good that you should try.

Mc Donald's part time jobs

Everyone at some point in their lives has eaten at Mc Donald's , but what they don't know is how much an employee can benefit from having these jobs.
students that work part time at Mc Donald's had experience that work there is a ideal job for many reasons. First of all, they can earn some money that help them to pay their bills, food, and utilities.
Second, they can assume some responsabilities like to be on time, perform a great job, and interact with other people. In addition, students can get work experiences that help them for live, and for another jobs. Also, they learn how to handle difficult situations , usually handle by supervisors or managers. In conclusion work at Mc Donald's is a great experience for live and to be prepare for another job.

MY FIRST DAY IN US

I came to US on December 25th of 2003 to New York City (Manhattan).
I arrive to Manhattan at 1 am, because I took tow flights .one from my city Medellin Colombia
to Bogota that is the capital of Colombia. In Bogota I had to wait there for like 4 hours. Then I took the other flight from Bogota to New York (Manhattan)
that took for about 5 hours. When I arrive to Manhattan it was too late to do something.
My friend and I were really tired to do something, so we decided to find a hotel for spend the night there. The other day we called our friend that were living in Queens, because we were lost in that big city. He picked us up in the hotel that we spend the night. He took us to a really nice restaurant because we were starving .Then we went to Central park, 5th avenue, Timesquear.
We were surprised ,because there is a lot of people everywhere. We were really happy that day, because Manhattan is a really nice place and have everything on it. We walked for about 6 hours in Manhattan. Then we went to a nice park to get some coffee; also, we went to a really big mall where we bought a lot of things, because everything were really cute, especially the clothes.
After that we were broke so we decided to go back to Central Park . We sat there and took a lot of pictures. At 2 am we were really tired, so we went to my friends house to sleep, because we were coming to Gainesville the next day. It was a good day and I really enjoyed being in Manhattan.

Santa Marta.

Santa Marta is the most beautiful place that I have ever been.
My friends and I were planing to go somewhere in Colombia for our vacations . we wanted to go some place that we could rest ,and have fun at the same time. we were trying to choose were we wanted to go one month before vacations ,but we were not able to find the place. The day before, I was talking to my cousin, and he was telling me about a nice place that he had been, which was la Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. He told me that Santa Marta was the best place to rest and have fun, so we decided to go there.
We packet our bags, and we went to the terminal to take a bus that would take us there. We were in the bus for about 18 hours ,and when we got there we sleep in a hotel. The next day we were ready to go where the native people from there lived. We walked for about 4 hours and when we get there we couldn't believe what we were looking.
It was the most beautiful place that we have ever been ,because of the sea ,the beach ,the people and the beautiful view .
The native people were really cool with us , and we were really surprised that the only Colombians that were there were us .
We went to the sea for scuba diving .Then we went to a ritual of the people from there that was a magic ceremony, because they pray to de nature and the sun. We never seen something like that before.
We had a lot of fun and rest in there.
La sierra Nevada de Santa Marta is a place that I will never forget, because the magic that I experience there.
